Artist's description:

This figurative contemporary original painting is striking and bold, as if its made out of multitude of unevenly shaped blocks of bright colors, out of pieces of vividly colored glass. Just as the other paintings done in this style, it would look great on any white or neutral colored wall space and would enhance any modern interior.

The main subject of this painting is an androgynously-looking young person submerged in deep contemplation. Perhaps, its an athlete before the competition or an ancient warier before the battle. In contrasts to the chaotic noise of surrounding colorful shapes, this main figure, completely still and focused on the task ahead, goes deep inside self to find the center of own inner strength. It projects power of restraint and meditative calmness.

This artwork is painted with high-quality acrylic paints, then lined with a Vitrel relief outliner to produce stained glass effect on canvas. I’ve finished the painting with several coats of clear high-gloss varnish to increase the effect and to protect investment for years of display.

The stained glass effect is best realized when you look at it with your very own eyes and in closer proximity. The photo image does not do any justice to this impressive piece of art, as my camera does not capture neither the richness and luminosity of colors, nor the dimensional relief of the lines, replacing glass-like shine of the surface with a flashlight glare.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is ready to be displayed with or without a frame. Sides of canvas painted black so framing is not necessary.
