This painting illustrates the problem with the ever increasing drive towards (and worship of) 'consumerism', which as an economic principal has no conscience. It creates the demand for resources which drives companies to justify wiping out entire ecosystems and species in order to feed its appetite - OUR appetite.

PUBLICLY EXHIBITED in the Strand Gallery, London, 27th May 2017 at the exhibition, 'Behind Closed Doors'.

This painting was also the winner out of 2,147 international entries for the 2015 Fine Art America Competition - 'Thought Provoking Art'.

This is an original free-hand painting carried out on a Wacom graphics tablet.
