Artist's description:

The photo of the tree bark, I took in Lumpini Park in Bangkok. Me and my friends were watching people exercising in the evening, it was already the time for the sun to set. I have a real love for trees, I think we have to learn from them and I love how they survive... storms, winters, heavy winds, and even... people. Everything about them is attuned to everything around them.

The photo of the leaf, I took at the Botanical Garden in Pattaya, a place that I love and that I still haven't had enough of. I just want to go there and stay - sit and read - for a few hours. Not moving, just breathing, just being. It's so peaceful and quiet there! And it was a really nice feeling to walk in the garden in the rain - the first time I was there, in March, it was so very hot, it was kind of tiring, but now, during the rainy season, the temperature wasn't all that low - it being Thailand and all - but it was nice, even though humidity was at its best.

And... yes, I am a big fan of quotes! As such, I couldn't help making a collage with what I love the most! I have quotes all around the house - some to remind me daily why I decided to take the path of a freelancer, not to give up my dreams, some quotes to make me smile... Yeah, I'm funny that way! ;))
