I absolutely love confetti. I spent my childhood hiding in the bushes at the church down our street, an uninvited guest spying on the wedding days of people I'd never met. I'd sit spellbound as confetti flew through the air, a kalaidascope explosion of colour accompanied by laughter and joy. Once the guests cleared out, it was my cue to rush in and fill my pockets with every last piece of retro confetti before heading home feeling like a pirate with a hoard of treasure.
