Artist's description:

My work is derived from single photographs using existing geometry within each image. This geometry goes largely unnoticed by the public yet it is there in our everyday lives, in our modernist world. My compositions align to the Suprematist movement of the early twentieth century, in particular the Dynamic Suprematist work of Kazimir Malevich.

The compositions celebrate the geometry around us and creates unique compositions that are born from the destruction and rebirth of a photographic image. The smallest details of light or structure can become significant in the final piece. What remains is only the essence of the original scene, however a new piece of art emerges that has independence of the original photograph through the process of abstraction and the Suprematist style.
