I have been impressed by the beauty of Comporta in Portugal, just 120 km South of Lisbon. This is an unspoilt area characterized by an extremely low population density. In this countryside scene, I tried to capture a slight sense of loliness since no human being is around. This feeling is made even stronger by the various horizons rich of nature and vegetation but that don't show any human activity.
This painting has been exibited in September 2019 at the 'Promotrice delle Belle Arti' of the city of Turin in Italy.
