Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

Original Pen and Ink drawing with watercolour of a Great Black Cormorant, drawn and painted in April 2016, using Winsor and and Newton Artists' quality watercolours.

There is a sense of movement in the drawing of this Cormorant in a commanding pose over the Liverpool skyline, and has semblance with the drawings by the famous illustrator Quentin Blake who I have always hugely admired. The Liver birds on the Royal Liver building are said to be inspired by Cormorants.

The cormorant has almost a primitive and reptilian appearance, and their numbers have dwindled due to the conflicts with fishermen and anglers.

The drawing is sent unframed in a secure hard backed attractive wrapping.
