There was a time when I used to work with wool, taught by my grandmother at a young age, and again, as with the work ”In my sunset”, I looked for ways to express myself. I was also making jewelry at the time, so I had a lot of materials and beads and I really liked these colorful wood pieces that I thought would go well in a mix with wool, making a piece to hang on a wall, thinking about a child's room.
I like to go a little out of the patterns, so I used chopsticks to hold it together. The beads are sewed into the wool pattern. I made it hoping to brighten a corner of a child's room, remembering how I used to love look at the paintings I had in my own room when I was small, the majority made by my grandfather.
