I like to recycle materials and create something new and different.
Technique: watercolor, gum bichromate, golden leaf, collage.

The work employs a collage style, arranging circular elements on a white background. Each circle features a different image or design, such as bird prints, eyes, ferns and decorative motifs. The colors are muted and range from soft yellows and muted reds to deep maroons and dark grays. The application of color is a combination of gouaches and images. Texture is varied: some circles have a slightly rough or mottled texture from the paint application, while others have a smooth quality. The overall aesthetic suggests a contemporary approach with elements of collage, mixed media and graphic design.
