Original artwork description:

It is a work with a clear hyper-realist origin, part of a series of contemporary still lifes, which aims to present, in a new light, one of the main subjects of art. Particularly in this work, I wanted to create a tension given by the union of different factors, semantic, chromatic and formal. Semantics because I combined two elements with a totally opposite meaning: a natural plant, and an artificial drink, grass and aluminum. Chromatic because one is the complement of the other in coloristic terms. Last but not least, the shape: an almost geometric cylinder that meets a free and more open shape.
What to think of all this? The contrasts divide, but perhaps even more, unite.

Materials used:

Acrilico
