This is an original encaustic painting on a cradled birch panel. There are many layers of blue, gold, green and purple in this abstract piece including shimmering metallics. Through the process of accretion, I created a heavily textured surface.
Signed and dated on the back and wired for hanging. This painting has clean birch sides and does not need to be framed which is customary for encaustic work.
