Artist's description:

One from an on-going series of paintings by Moorland Productions (Kenneth Hay & Seetha A) dealing with surveillance and control, and also referencing other contemporary issues, in this case, The Olympic Games, Sportswear branding and camouflage. The influences come from everyday life/socio/political events, during the time taken to create the painting and are often picked up on a subliminal level. The artists aim to find a harmonious resolution to all the various ingredients. First exhibited at the Galerie Nová Sín in Prague, 2011, and in the Galerie Cerna Linka, Brno, 2012. Catalogue available, with text by Tereza Petisková, Director of The House of Art, Brno, CZ.

Materials used:

Acrylic on cotton canvas, acrylic metallic paint.
