Artist's description:

During a sunny afternoon walk on the Little Orme Penrhyn Bay near Llandudno, we noticed a rabbit all by itself running up a very small run on the cliff face near the seal beach. Thinking what a dangerous volatile facia this little creature was I had the idea of trying to depict this scenario as an abstract piece of sheer drops and danger.

Using acrylic, spray paint and a little water spray I energetically started to deal with the dropping cliff as blocks of colour tearing down the canvas. Adding yellow acrylic for the cliff face, red spray paint to depict the dangerous edge, green spray paint to generate the rabbits path and adding water spray to disrupt the surface to produce the volatile, crumbling surface that the rabbit was transgressing. The blue for the beach/sea was added to fight at the edge of the canvas.

This produced a striking painting
