Artist's description:

This work of art is for the Miniature Project. This is following on from the previous works based around the theme of fingerprints and is entitled 'Class of Unusual Suspects'

This is inspired by the comedy sketch of Three Classes, that features the John Cleese (from Faulty Towers etc.) and the comedians Two Ronnies, Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett.

In the UK, we have a Class system that is still evident today. The Upper Class (depicted by tallest figure, John Cleese in Yellow) represent the elite of society such as the Royal Family for those that are extremely wealthy usually with tittles. The Middle Class, those that have generally been to University with typically Blue Collar Workers (depicted by the middle figure of Ronnie Barker in Red). The Lower Class, those that are generally have no formal education, and are working Class (depicted by the smallest figure, Ronnie Corbett in Blue)

See clip below, to understand the inspiration for this work. (Three Classes by Two Ronnies)
