Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This was the first of my "Clarity of Vision" series that was done on a recent trip to Thailand.

The series is based on Buddhist philosophy and being able to see the light and colours of reality amidst the darkness and confusion of living.

The visual influence for the series is the lights of Bangkok: the bars, the office buildings and the temples. A Buddhist city in a Buddhist country but with as many vices as any other international city.

Sounds a bit serious? Possibly, but it was very much on my mind when I was there.
