Artist's description:

“Circus Dance” is one of a pair, the other being “Tango”. Either would display well on their own.
Both paintings are about the dance of life – Tango is a challenging dance to achieve and Circus Dance reflects the risks taken by the acrobats who use their whole bodies to entertain us. This is very much a signature piece of mine as the action of making my art is l like a circus dance - sometimes slow, sometimes fast, sometimes filled with colour, sometimes reflective and quieter, but always taking risks and also taking one away from the ordinary, the everyday into the realms of the imagination. The whole experience is like a mirror of life itself - short, varied and always precious.

The painting is acrylic on chunky canvas and has a light oiled wood surround.
The second photograph shows the framed print on display at The Ellesmere College Art Exhibition 2014
