Original artwork description:

When I look at Nature, whether the micro or the macro, I arrive at the belief that circles must be Nature's favorite shape; we live on a circle, and circles are in everything.

Circles create calmness and harmony against the rough edges of daily life.

This book sculpture is carved from a 1969 volume of the World Scope Encyclopedia.

Actual dimensions are:
23.7 cm -- height
17.4 cm -- width
2.7 cm -- depth

All pages and paper surfaces are carefully sealed together with a UV resistant sealer. The book is glued in the shut position and is no longer intended to be opened.

For ease of hanging on the wall, I have permanently attached a metal sawtooth hanger on the back of the book. Simply hang it on a screw or nail. Or, stand it up on a bookshelf.

One important thing about this listing: this is listed as being "signed on the back" but it is actually signed on the bottom of the book as you can see in the photo.
