Original artwork description:

We often go on holiday to Croyde in North Devon. We drive with our very old caravan in tow, all the way from Lincolnshire to the West Country. I love the sea. We are fortunate to live reasonably close to the east coast but we like to spend our main summer holiday by the Atlantic. The roar of the waves and the smell of the salty ocean, screeching gulls and endless hours on the sands are the essence of summer for me.
This is a little oil painting depicts children playing on the beach. Putsborough is at one end of Woolacombe Bay. I love it there. We usually walk from Croyde, over the massive hill that is known as Baggy Point. It is a wonderful spot where we have shared lovely summer days with our children. It's a very inspiring place.
I have put this picture into a mount I cut myself in my studio. The mount measures 20 cm x 25.5 cm approx. It will fit into an off the shelf frame but looks good displayed as it is.
