Inspired by Japanese designs for fabrics I have created a series of prints using traditional motifs and subject matter.
This one is the Chicken or Rooster which is one of the symbols in the Japanese zodiac
This silkscreen is in four colours , the background design is seen on fabrics making up part of the design and is printed in silver.

Materials used:

Fabriano Rosapina printmaking paper 220gsm acid free, Acrylic paint and silkscreen medium
