Artist's description:

"Chiado". Only and One.
- There belongs to the Series "Ruas de Lisboa" that consists of three pieces: "Rua da Alegria", "Alfama" and "Chiado".

"The Barrio Alto of Chiado", is a very traditional and old area, take a tram, # 28, is called the Santa Justa elevator or elevator Da Gloria because it is in the highest part of the city. My mother took me there to see the Seven Hills of Lisbon, and I adored her. It was a very special moment for the two. And that memory, that magic, I wanted to capture in my painting.
