Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

A watercolour portrait of Argentinian born Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, and guerrilla-military theorist who was radicalised by the poverty, hunger and disease he saw while travelling extensively in South America. He eventually joined Fidel and Raul Castro, and became a minister in their revolutionary government in Cuba. Generally believed to have been summarily executed by the CIA in Bolivia.
Despite the fact that a similar image has been literally done to death commercially, I decided to have a go at this one - not because I support his views or otherwise (I'm neutral about those issues) but because he has such an amazing face.

Materials used:

watercolour on paper
