I created this graphite drawing during a 30 days drawathon. I was filling up an entire sketchbook with drawings and experimental work. This idea had stuck with me as I once caught a vivid seconds glimpse of the extraterrestrial being in between sleeping and awake before popping out of the 3D plane . His skin colour was like that of a "Chestnut" which later became his nickname. Pencil on paper.
Later on in the year I created a painting of "Chestnut" to further explore that memory of the split second between sleeping and awake. I called that painting "the visitor" It does make me wonder was it just fantasy or did I really have an observant alien visitor? I want to believe.
