Day 8/365 of my Daily Painting project: Postcards from Pembrokeshire. Painted on canvas over board, each painting uses my homemade earth ground paint (made with different Pembrokeshire soils). A different painting for each day of the year, started 16th August 2016.

A cherry tree in a field of drying grasses, midday sun, stark shadows, slight breeze from the sea behind me half a mile away down the valley.

Pembrokeshire is like this. Obvious beauty, stunning seascapes, trees by banks.
