Peach blossoms are not simply the flowers of Tet, a symbol of spring. This flower is also considered the quintessence of the five elements because of its bright, gentle and delicate color. In other words, flowers have the meaning of repelling evil spirits, eliminating disasters, repelling bad luck, bringing peace and happiness. Perhaps because of this meaning, flowers are chosen by everyone and everyone to display during Tet.
The blooming peach blossoms, pink peach buds, and early buds symbolize growth and development. If you want a good, prosperous, happy new year, and a smooth road ahead, you should definitely not miss planting peach trees on Tet.
Since ancient times, peach blossoms have been considered a symbol of cohesion and harmony. So Vietnamese people choose this flower to celebrate Tet with the hope that a new year will not only be peaceful and prosperous, but family members will also be harmonious, attached, loving and tolerant of each other.
