Artist's description:

Abstract wildflowers art, acrylic painting on 10x8x0.75 canvas, inspired by the wildflowers superblooms during the late winter and spring time at the Arizona deserts.

I choose to paint without brushes, but with fingers. In that way I can closely connected with the colors I was applying onto the canvas. I flickered, dashed, splattered, dripped, ..ect the acrylic paints to created a fusion of colors to represent my idea of wildflowers I sighted in my hiking experience. I sometime call this art process "Ku-Fu Style" because it involves some targeting actions.

The edges were painted with continuation, surface was coated with gloss varnish for protection from dust and UV light. The back was tightly strung with wire for hanging.

Materials used:

acrylic paints, canvas
