Artist's description:

Early morning walking on the Bridge North to the old town is quite something.
There I was standing and the birds arrived and made the picture. I shot from my hip.

Had been to Prague in the early 1970s : the Russians were in charge . The bridge was then used for Money exchange . The Czechs were desperate to get away and start a new life. They then could only leave if they paid in Foreign currency. I again went in 1974.... I had met an American, Jack @ Madrid airport and we flew to Paris and chatted. I was on the way home and he was freewheeling. He wanted to go to Berlin so we hired a BMW and drove. That time Germany was split so we drove to Austria and up through Prague into East Germany. Again the Bridge haunted my memory bank. I gave all my 12 books to a student at the Ufliki Pub. He had a PhD and was sweeping roads. This picture represents all those visits x memories and more since with Barbara. Photography is so special sometimes you can hear them breathing.
