Artist's description:

This work started out as an experiment using no reference photographs, so the person depicted does not directly represent anyone in particular. I built the image from a random sketch of a generic human form before applying collaged elements which I had cut from full colour magazines, so the figure is not gender specific and therefore has an androgenous feel.
The eyes and facial features are made up of a composite of various photographic imagery taken from fashion magazine supplements as well as wildlife publications. The clothing, I made up from painting shapes and experimental marks.

This work is sold unframed in a plain white mount (see pics) and cellophane wrapped with a certificate of authenticity. It will be packaged between two stiff supporting boards and wrapped with the corners protected.

Materials used:

acrylic paint, full colour magazines, coloured paper, coloured chalks
