Original artwork description:

Much of this painting was done directly outside on a beautiful beach at Cemaes Bay. I took the canvas down there a few times painting more and more each time. I was inspired by the reflections in the sand when its wet and all the colours it captures. I painted as the tide retreated leaving these wonderful reflections.
The sky was also beautiful with the evening light reflecting off the clouds. It looked heavenly.
I spent many hours on the beach each time i visited responding to what I was seeing and feeling. I used brushes, a pallet knife and my hands to create marks which were spontaneous and described them magical moments.
Once the painting was near completion( although I believe my paintings can never really be completed) I did some touching up in my studio using drawings, memory and my imagination.

I can assure you this piece will be wrapped and packaged properly and will arrive to you in perfect condition. I will include a signed hand written certificate of authenticity as well as a personal thank you note and one of the brushes I used to make the painting :)
