This piece is an impasto oil painting on stretched canvas.
My inspiration for this piece comes from the Irish Legend that at any given point in time, the veil between Heaven and Earth is three feet wide.
Its in these special places that the holy becomes ordinary and the ordinary holy. The Irish term for these places is called Caol Ait or thin places.
This artwork does not need to be framed the sides are painted.
It is fully gloss varnished, and ready to display.
This artwork is semi abstract and has a lot of texture created with the pallet knife.
