Inspired by the famous Magritte painting, 'Ceci nest pas one pipe', this was painted during lockdown, and reflects the faintly absurd rush to buy toilet paper, and subsequent lack of it in the shops! Mr Magritte posits the idea that the picture of a pipe ISN'T in fact a pipe, but just an image of a pipe. My painting isn't actually toilet paper, because there's none on the roll. Oh... and it may look a bit like a pipe?
