Artist's description:

This is version 2 of my imagined set of local cats, assembling under the railway arch and, carefully balanced and hoisted by the comrades, reaching up to spray pictures of mice, rats, birds and thoughts on cat-snacks!

One of our local recreational walks/bike rides is along a Sustrans converted route which was a railway loop line, axed in the 1960's by our dear Dr Beeching! The old road bridges over the loop attract lots of the disaffected local youth, who splash paint around. Occasionally they create a neat piece of worthwhile graffiti, which I imitate.

Three of our original cats, Tigger, Simpkin and The Bullpuss feature as the Ginger Nuts in most of my cat stories. Their colourful ginger markings are repeated upon the CatBots (robotic cats in homage to the Samsung green robot software updater, or it may be Isaac Asimov).

The second image here is of an earlier work on this theme, no longer available as an original, but included to help promulgate possible commissions.

Materials used:

ink lines, inktense pencils, watercolours
