This painting is made from a video which I projected on a canvas. It is actually two different moments. I took this video with my phone during a residency in Latvia in the summer of 2021. It was a very deep and intense experience sharing our time and space among seven of us in a renovated country manor house. In this scene the director of the residence was explaining to us how to eat some smoked fish that he had specially bought for our farewell at the end of the residency.
