Original artwork description:

A cat portrait made in wire, capturing the poise and watchful eyes of a feline friend.

Created by twisting, weaving, cutting, bending, curling and straightening wire with pliers. The sculpture creates negative shapes between the wire which hold as much importance as the wire itself, encouraging the viewer to recognise this space as part of the sculpture.

It is lightweight and easily hung on the wall. It casts changing shadows in natural light and dramatic shadows in artificial light which adds to the sculpture's uniqueness.
