Artist's description:

This painting belongs to a series of art works which aim to prove that each moment of life possesses its own esthetics. It takes an effort to reveal it, but the results are fruitful.

The work is painted from life in an impressionist manner. The painting is a snapshot of a scene that was once observed by the artist in a Moscow subway. Two friends
were travelling somewhere. One of them had a terrible toothache and the other one (in a blue jacket) kept asking his mate if he got any better.

These scene, as simple as it is, touched some strings of the artist's heart, so he decided to paint it, so that it could touch yours as well.
