Artist's description:

This has been painted from life, and the green overgrown ruins with grass and moss and barely visible dating back to the fourteenth century. The Anglo Saxons whom once lived within these walls had a market area and a grande house. Their ancestor's history explained within the visitor information plaque, explained their generations were dominated by daughters. Once seated with watercolours and paper the figure gradually appeared inside the chapel, and the painting took on a spiritual element looking whilst dreaming in front of nature into the keyhole of the past.
