Artist's description:

When we set off from Loch Assynt in North West Scotland, I didn't think we'd get much of a view from the tops towards Canisp & Suilven. It was one of those days, low clouds and showers all around but we were lucky enough to avoid most of them.

At our morning coffee break, the clouds briefly parted and let the sun light up Canisp. At the same time the light on the Loch highlighted the various disturbances across the water. An almost mirror like reflection at one end, while the wind can be seen sweeping across the middle and causing ripples to glisten at the other end.
