Artist's description:

This is an en plein air painting of the pretty fishing village of Camera de Lobos on the Portuguese holiday island of Madeira. The village was perhaps made famous by being painted by Sir Winston Churchill. The village is only a few miles outside Funchau the capital so I walked and although the weather started fine by the time I had finished it poured with rain! ...and the buses were on strike! Had to get back to the hotel by taxi.

Materials used:

Non fade artists watercolours on heavyweight rag watercolour paper
