Artist's description:

This view of Segovia Street can be seen from the 23 meter high viaduct that runs across it. The street was built in the 16th century along a deep gully as one of the main access roads to the capital.
Cast against the sky we see the towers of St. Michael Pontifical Basilica.
My intent with this painting was to show the rich mosaic of shapes and colours of the old Madrid rooftops and façades. I have used acrylic and oil colours applied with rollers, brushes and palette knives.
This painting can be shipped unframed to let the buyer frame it to his/her taste or, alternatively, a 3 cm thick wooden edge can be affixed to its back and painted in a dark matching colour, so that no further frame would be required: It wold ship ready to hang. This latter option would result in no additional cost to the buyer, but would add approximately a week to the shipping time.

Materials used:

Acrylic and oil paint, rollers, brushes, palette knives
