Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired by a weekend stay at a pretty period cottage in Herefordshire, with exposed beams and wattle-and-daub walls. The vase of flowers was on the dining table, and the colour ‘Calamine’ from Farrow and Ball paints was on the walls. This painting reminds me of warm summer days, spent wandering around gardens, and cutting flowers to bring inside.

The painting wraps around the sides of the deep canvas, and it is strung at the back, ready to hang. Carefully wrapped and shipped to you.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint, marbling ink and gold leaf
