Inspired by the landscape in which she lives, Caroline's work is based on urban and coastal environments which she transforms into linear patterns. The stylised nature of her work exagerrates the decorative characteristics of her surroundings. This intricate cut paper stencil is relief mounted to create shadows and an illusion of depth with a splash of colour. It looks great when framed in a box frame.
