This is the gorgeous city of Ulm. Primarily known for having the church with the tallest steeple in world and as the birthplace of Einstein. But what fascinates me the most are the half-timbered houses line the narrow alleys of the Fischerviertel, an area close to the River Danau. This kind of architecture known as 'fachwerk Houses'.
This lino is inspired from a photograph I had taken when I first visited this gorgeous town of Ulm.
Every print is hand pulled by me, and therefore proudly shows the various marks left from the rough surface of the Lino block, which furthermore give the piece of artwork that unique handmade quality that only Lino prints have. This is all part of the beauty of the medium and why I love Lino printing.
Please note Variations in colour of the screen are technically possible.
