Artist's description:

Walking through the Alameda gardens, I saw a rear sighting of a Cabbage white butterfly on a flower bed in a Mediterranean botanical garden, where the majority of butterflies are the Red Admirals. It took me a long trek to finally get it settled on the plant, then it was so high up that I had to climb on a picnic table and stand very still for a long time before I got the shot. There were a couple of people watching that I was totally unaware of, until I jumped down, and asked If I got the shot. This give the photo a special meaning, as the nice couple shared that moment with me.
