Artist's description:

A gull's-eye view from the coastal path along Berry Head, Brixham. It is my first painting of this wonderful coastline that I am fortunate enough to call home. The painting was inspired by a recent walk along the coastal path; I was struck by the extraordinary beauty of the landscape - the strong light and deep, vibrant sea swirling around the rocks created a dazzling dance of colour and shapes.

This painting is about these colours and shapes; the vivid Mediterranean blues (no exaggeration, it really was a very deep blue!) the movement of the water, and the solid linear rocks. It is signed discreetly on the front and will have a certificate of authenticity provided.

It has been painted on Two Rivers handmade watercolour paper using professional quality watercolours. It measures approximately 14" X 18" and has a 1" border on each side to allow for framing. It is sold unmounted and unframed. This paper has a wonderful natural surface and deckled edge all round.

Every effort has been made to reproduce the colours exactly as the painting, but individual monitor settings can cause slight variations.

Materials used:

Two Rivers handmade paper, professional quality watercolour paints.
