Breaking blue - semi absract seascape is one of a series of semi abstract paintings that I enjoyed creating as part of a large commission..
The commission was based on an ocean voyage and I instantly thought of breaking waves, there is something so mesmerising about the power of the sea and as I live in an old coastguard station perched on some cliffs with the sea only about 50 yards away I get to see a lot of waves!
In this painting I tried to capture that power but also show the calm and spiritual element to the water as well...
This painting is oil on board and is framed as shown and comes with a signed certificate of Authenticity
