This beautiful still life was painted by the French artist Henri Augustin Le Sidaner
Now I'm talking about the original, not my copy.
Le Sidaner is considered "the last of the Impressionists", he was influenced by them and used the approach to depicting the light and nature of these artists.
I like not only the style of the painting. But also the plot, it is very close to my soul.
I have always enjoyed looking at paintings by different artists, where there is a view from the window. And suddenly, I realized that these are my memories of one spring of my youth. It so happened that I hurt my leg. For two weeks, I sat by the window, looked at the passers-by, drew, and drank tea with jam; this was my enforced entertainment.
And so, the result is such a picture. Here my childhood memories and the feeling of the Parisian spring of a French artist of the 19th century are intertwined.
What else do I want to say about this still life? Although this is impressionism, it is closer to pointillism: writing with a tiny brushstroke that looks like dots.

And that's the beauty of the effect. Colours flow into each other smoothly, flicker slightly.
