Artist's description:

This medieval themed illustration is inspired by the music and lyrics of the song Leper Messiah (1986) which was written by Metallica and features of their album Master of Puppets. The song deals with corruption within religion. This is my first illustration that deals with corruption i'm planning of having a series of drawings all covering different aspects of corruption and the different forms it can appear in. I'll be taking inspiration from all genres of music.

This illustration comes with a bespoke wooden frame hand crafted to fit this illustration. With italian wood limbs textured and painted black it adds the final gothic touch to this illustration. Fitted with double mount.
