A thought provoking piece that portrays the struggles of having Borderline Personality Disorder. This painting draws you in with her captivating ability to reveal the symbolism of the symptoms of this disorder. This painting has the ability to expand your imagination, by it's emotional impact. The splatter of paint on her face represents the constant backlash this world has on mental illness. I designed her hairless to indicate how the world will pluck one piece of hair at a time out to get their selfish needs met. As someone who suffers from this disorder I understand that feeling of hopelessness because you can not relate or connect with anyone because you feel things to such an extreme level. Painted in 2015 signed by Canadian Artist Brittany Forrest. One of a kind, acrylic painting made with 24' x 18' canvas material. Brittany is 27 years old and has been painting for a little more than 25 years.
