Artist's description:

This photograph was made at the Bolshoi in Moscow and I was the first Photographer to be allowed to go backstage. Galina was one of the well known dancers of the 1990s. She was in the first Company and danced Giselle many times. Here she stands talking to a friend, on the staircase, having a cigarette. I did not use flash to make these pictures hence the relaxed nature of the Girls in the photographs. I am starting to make Giclee prints from these images and have the new size and editions.
You can purchase this image in two sizes on 41x31 cm 12x16" and 9 1/2x12" 24x30.5 cm
I will price the 12x16 @ £200 and the 9 1/2x10 @ £85 .all my images are *all negative printed *so are consistent in sizes as the negative dictates that..where 35 mm or 6x6. This is from film so the grain is magical and helps with atmosphere of Backstage @ the Bolshoi .... keith
