I painted this on location at Blackshore near Southwold, Suffolk.
It shows a line of different types of boats, all waiting for the crane to lift them back into the water. Beyond are some fisherman’s sheds and repair facilities for their equipment.
This was painted ‘en plein air’ like the impressionists.
