This oil painting is semi abstract and I feel quite brooding. I love artists like Gustav Klimt for the glamour and illustrative feel to his work and Vincent Van Gogh for the passion and immediacy - this painting has been heavily influence by their styles. It is one of two which are similar but unique ( No's 7 and 11 as shown in several pictures ) and painted in the same time period as part of my walk in the woods series. It is made from a combination of paint applied in layers including watercolour, acrylic, metallic paint, gold leaf and oil paint.
It comes unframed and signed on the back. It can be mounted or framed in variety of ways to your taste or hung as in the photos.
I am an eclectic artist and paint any subject or style that takes my fancy.
